I had the opportunity to sit down with Shadota’ Hargett Hill a few weeks ago and do an interview for her program, Community Connections. The program is a production of the Triangle Radio Reading, Service, a non-profit organization which provides content to the blind and visually impaired in North Carolina. Community Connections airs on the second Tuesday of each month and features interviews with members of the blindness community. An edited version of my interview, in which I discuss my life and my experiences with the Blind Idol competition, aired on the May 2017 episode last week. You can hear the podcast of that episode by clicking here.
The interview with Sha was such a delight, and we decided we couldn’t let anyone miss out on it in its full glory, so I’ve gotten permission to post our full chat here. You can download it as an MP3 or stream it below.

I’d like to extend my great thanks to Sha and the tRRS staff for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this great program. Please check out their website and consider donating to an organization which is doing great work.
